The Ultimate camper is classified as a “Motor Caravan” on its vehicle V5 and carries an “M1” vehicle category (car / passenger vehicle) rather than the “N1” classification of a commercial vehicle. This means the camper is only required to follow regular car speed limits and rules.

Many insurance companies will either not quote or charge more for non-type approved vehicles.

Type-approved vehicles do not require an initial MOT until the vehicle is 4 years old.

The Ultimate camper has passed independent testing witnessed by the VCA. This testing covers several aspects of the finished camper, including seatbelt anchorage, electronic interference testing and final weights.

Features

Battery under the passenger seat.

Battery has a 3 year warranty directly with VW and the full split charge system has been factory installed by VW.

Factory fitted swivel front seats (including driver seat) with arm rests as standard.
Gas system – Meets all regulations. A fill of the gas in the Euro Leisure Ultimate van will suffice for 6 to 12 months of use
(depending on the individual requirements of the user). Underslung gas system and fully crash tested. Frees up space
inside of the van. It comes with a built in safety system to stop the gas tank being overfilled.
